Sort of a mellower direction for them, and I'm definitely enjoying the vocal melodies and performance on this more than anything on their last record.

holy crap TSSF finally evolved their style somewhat. it's not bad, not sure how I'd feel about a whole album of this. Love their debut, liked their next one, didn't care for the most recent one at all

I think there will be some surprises here. They've all supposedly been listening to lots of Beatles and Oasis, so I think this will be mellower and more mature, and seems to be revolved around themes of drug addiction and such. And "finally evolved"? you can't tell me USAD and S/T were the same style

I’ve gone the last couple years honestly and I can tell you when I saw The Story So Far, Real Friends, Neck Deep, etc., the main people in the crowd were not preteen girls lmao. Warped in general the last couple years has had a pretty healthy crowd of people in their mid 20s-30s. At least at my location.

For a band like SWS, like Steak said, yeah preteen girl demographic is a lot more truthful

Nah just don’t think it makes a lot of sense to be upset about the incident. If the person got injured or, hell, even if she got her feelings hurt by the event, then sure, I’d get it. But the person who got kicked even said it didn’t hurt, she deserved it, and that she didn’t take any offense over it. If the person who got kicked saw it wasn’t a big deal, what’s the point in having your panties still in a bunch? People want to be upset about anything these days smh

Using the excuse of not expecting to get hurt at a TSSF concert... why? Pop punk does mosh pits etc. sometimes just as hard as metal shows. The pits when I saw Neck Deep were just as crazy as when I saw Whitechapel and The Black dahlia Murder. If this actually happened somewhere where you would never think you could get hurt, like a Taylor Swift concert, I’d get it. But that’s not the case here.

Okay, I get that. But what are other relevant factors? No injuries, no complaints from the afflicted party, no repeat instances in the future, no precedence set for the entire live concert community making that act seem okay, nothing came of it. Was he a dick for doing it? Yeah. But when all the above factors are considered, I don’t get how it’s even still talked about, is all.
