The Wonder Years 2nd New Song

2018-03-16 by DyingAtheist | 23 Comments
Acclaimed pop-punk band The Wonder Years have debuted their second new song off the upcoming April 6th album Sister Cities. Pyramids of Salt is very much a change of pace from the more straightforward title track, and reflects yet another small experimentation in the bands sound.

Not gunna lie, the new singles sound like everything they have released before (albeit a bit more refined) and I am still 110% fine with that

Know the song has been out for a week or so now, but it hadn't been submitted which surprised me given the love for TWY around here, plus the song is awesome so.

Song slaps, production sucks

Edit: in retrospect it's not that bad in this track but compared to Upsides/Suburbia/TGG, it's...not good

At least the snare sound is better than it was on NCTH. That was rough

wow, sure glad they traded in all the energy and excitement of their past material for this lethargic alt-rock snorer....
