Diablo Swing Orchestra stream

'Swing Metal' Swedish band Diablo Swing Orchestra have just released their 4th album, entitled Pacifisticuffs, after more than 5 years since their previous release, Pandora's Piñata.

The album was announced on October 2014 after the replacement of the previous lead singer Annlouice Lögdlund by Kristin Evegård, but suffered multiple delays since, which lead to a change in the band's record label.

The band showcases the eclectic influences and scatterbrained approach to composition they've come to be known for, taking inspiration from disco, jazz, electronica, etc., with a punkish heavy metal approach.

swing/vocal jazz combined with metal. Check out "Balrog Boogie" from their debut.

This band is fun. Gotta check!

this is pretty good, the loss of the operatic singing hasn't taken away anything imo

This sounds like it'd be fun live, but album sounds like it was recorded with a potato.

Yeah the recording is horrendous... what the hell is that snare?

I like it a lot. While their last two albums were excellent, their first three are all kind of samey. This album feels fresh somehow. Maybe it's the new female singer who I think I like more than the last one.
