Brandon Burkhalter, former drummer of progressive rock band Polyphia, has released a music video for his song "Someday" which comes off of his EP "Flourish" which dropped back in June. His solo work incorporates heavy use of piano and drums

don't think the backing instrumentals suit this guy at all, could learn a thing or two from anika niles or anup sastry. fun watching stupidly talented people fuck around on a kit though.

I think it suits him rather well, but I can see what you mean. This is his first solo EP so maybe he'll be able to work everything out on his next piece of work. At least he's having fun with this, because he seemed so bored with Polyphia
