I can dig it. I hope it's not the best the album has to offer but if it's really a big single then I can get behind it. Lyrics seem like a commentary on Italy so to call them protagonists of the song makes sense I guess. Catchy song, I like the hook around 2 minutes in.
Also there's Djivas so of course I'll check the album

Indeed, they said that they'll keep going as long as forces last but we aren't that far from the end. However Djivas has been in the band since 1973, so in my heart he is one of the boys too. Or should I say "our" hearts, because the two astronauts(?) on the new album cover are meant to be Di Cioccio and Djivas

Guitarist Franco Mussida is sorely missed to the band. He was an important part of their sound. Long live Franz Di Cioccio. Song is ok. Nothing to do with PFM, but whatev.

Great band, but speaking about 70s stuff from Italy, to me, bands like Perigeo, Osage Tribe and The Trip were on another level. With all my respect. Matter of taste.

It's not that rare of an opinion honestly. I myself don't consider them to be above all else. They are super famous, that's for sure. Everybody here knows them. But Locanda delle fate's debut LP does more for me than basically the entire PFM discog

high hopes on this

Agreed for that 2006 album, SirLord. PFM of the 70s are hard to beat. They did clever, original symphonic prog and released a bunch of consistent albums. They are easily my personal number one among bands that are coming from Italy.
