Great song, sounds like a mix of their Rave Tapes electronic-tinged sounds with their more traditional post rock sound and song structures. A really nice balance.

Mogwai's songs are best heard in the context of the album so we'll have to wait and see. As a standalone song though I do enjoy it quite a bit.

I heard this by complete accident yesterday (I think), was very dull. I like some of their earlier material but 'The Hawk is Howling' was a complete bore-fest & I didn't bother checking out anything afterwards.
