OK...like...I think I get what they were TRYING to do here, but it didn't turn out that great.

Also I get the feeling this won't get far on radio if that's the goal; there's no real discernible hook, that weird pitch shifting on the chorus is too obscure to be memorable.

I'm in the minority here but I feel like this is a genuinely good track after the vomitey, gross disaster that was American Beauty or whatever. The pitch-shifted sampling does call back to circa early 10s Skrillex brostep but I don't even hate the way it sounds. I've never been a FAN of this band but I enjoyed their earlier albums, and even though this is further distancing themselves from that sound more and more, I'm pretty satisfied with it.

This video really hit home. I grew up in a single-llama household and was always hiding away in strangers trunks to escape the pain of having to eat shitty sandwiches every night. The track was really formulaic and bland, but I guess thats to be expected coming from Fall Out Bois.
