Song is pretty okay, but I don't know how I feel about the weird vocal styling
| |
I actually like video, but dont know what to think about song. Really unexpected sound.
| |
It was fine until 1:10, especially that 1:20 mark. Wtf was that

This is stupid. Hope this never hits the radio
| |
My chemical romance breaks up: they are a legend
Fall out boy still releases shitty music: they'll become the next good Charlotte. Everybody knows them but everyone hates them.
| |
I rarely comment on this website but god fucking dammit this song is giving me headaches.
| |
It's fall out boy, who do you expected? mastodon?
| |
Needs a mastodon guitar solo
| |
'My chemical romance breaks up: they are a legend'
according to who?
| |
Sounds like another shit album on the way. Fantastic.
| |
Gonna be a hard 1, can't see this getting a higher average than a 1.7
| |
"according to who?"
whom*
| |
According to me: they broke up in the right moment. They knew danger days was pretty weak compared to their previous albums.
| |
holy fuck though this is mixed so badly, what a mess
| |
*whomst've
| |
what in contraction
| |
yeah my chemical romance are a legend 12 year old boys tell girls to get laid
| |
they're like "hey there have you heard about my chemical romance? apparently they were a good band lol"
| |
no no no no no no no no no no no
| |
I'm 27 years old and I'm not embarrased of saying that they were one of the few worthy pop punk bands or post hardcore bands or whatever from the 00's. Three cheers is a masterpiece
| |
you should be embarrassed
| |
just horrible
| |
MCR were my shit in College, not so much now, but they're still miles better than whatever the fuck Fall Out Boy became
| |
ehhh, this is okay
at least they're exploring being creative again
| |
you know that meme of Patrick Stewart saying "what the fuck is this shit?"
you can apply that to the entire song
| |
Lol
| |
"My chemical romance breaks up: they are a legend'
according to who?"
Tons of idiots on this site, actually.
| |
britney should be livid she's referenced in this atrocity
| |
Holy shit this is horrid........
| |
Bleh
| |
how embarrassing
| |
At least they use instruments not like Linkin Park xDDD
| |
this isn't good
im not even a fan of this band and i can still see that
| |
Why did they reunite? Because Patrick Stump was broke or something? This is pretty bad.
| |
Wonder what the rest of the band members do on stage when any of the new content comes up on the set list.
| |
they count their stacks of hundred dollar bills
| |
This is awful
| |
........What?
| |
This is super okay. Like, not amazing or anything, just super okay.
| |
"britney should be livid she's referenced in this atrocity"
lol.
chorus is horribly bad. video starts good. ends pretty cliche and annoying. always need to have the abusive parent to justify being weird...
| |
holy fuck. This will hit the airwaves and I'll hate work even more.
| |
Never dug these guys, but I didn't expect something this terrible lol.
| |
Hard to believe the same band that released Take This to Your Grave have devolved into this...
| |
Why are these guys even a band? Might as well be Patrick Stump and a synth with the amount of genuine instrumentation you can hear. Song was uber boring
| |
Fuck, I tried to defend American Beauty, but I can't defend this. Sounds like a fucking Marshmello song.
| |
marshmello is cool though and wouldnt mix this shitty
| |
I mean it's not good, but better than anything off of their last two records. But how are they even going to incorporate into their live set with their old songs. It sounds like a completely different "band".
| |
Save rock and roll was at least a RELATIVELY solid pop album but after American beauty I have completely given up all hope on this band
| |
Trying to figure out what this sounds like just from the comments and the biggest red flag I see is the apparent Britney reference
Never listened to their last album but Uma Thurman was the worst member berries bullshit Ive ever heard
| |
ugh, that was quite painful
| |
Save rock and roll was at least a RELATIVELY solid pop album but after American beauty I have completely given up all hope on this band [2]
this song is pretty awful. but this is coming from the guy who says folie a deux is easily their best album, so take my opinion with a grain of salt
| |
what did skrillex this too? stay away from 2000s bands sonny moore including From first to last
| |
k you guys are gonna hate me for this
but I absolutely love this
I mean the Britney reference is just embarrassing but other than that this is kinda clever
| |
Band has mostly been insufferable for 10+ years. No surprise here.
| |
yeah it's embarrassing for her
| |
This is really weird, but it's way better than some of their other recent stuff like that garbage Centuries song
| |
oo that nikki sixx reference is embarrassing as fuck too
| |
lol who is nikki six?
| |
I can't believe people are still listening to them, when they broke up I just assumed that was it- if they'd left it there I'd look back on them as a piece of 2000s nostalgia, the kind of band I'd hear a song from randomly and go "ohh yeah I remember them, they were alright"
now I actively hate them
| |
I honestly wouldn't hate this without the pitch shifted chorus. Reminds me of that Kiiara "Gold" song that she can't play live because it's just chopped up pitch shifted shit.
| |
This would have been passable if it weren't for those damn synth breaks.
| |
hahahah pop punk
| |
wow this due out on my birthday what a shitty gift fuck you guys
| |
OK...like...I think I get what they were TRYING to do here, but it didn't turn out that great.
Also I get the feeling this won't get far on radio if that's the goal; there's no real discernible hook, that weird pitch shifting on the chorus is too obscure to be memorable.
Centuries still rips tho tbh
| |
Nah Centuries is fucking disgusting and the worst song any pop punk gone EDM band has every written
I'm in the minority here but I feel like this is a genuinely good track after the vomitey, gross disaster that was American Beauty or whatever. The pitch-shifted sampling does call back to circa early 10s Skrillex brostep but I don't even hate the way it sounds. I've never been a FAN of this band but I enjoyed their earlier albums, and even though this is further distancing themselves from that sound more and more, I'm pretty satisfied with it.
| |
Odd I love Centuries. It's like this is all subjective.
| |
Well yeah obviously, the hate for this seems pretty unanimous and I was just offering my counter perspective. I'm good with this.
| |
I guess I'll offer my opinion that Centuries is the most annoying song I've heard ever since it came out
| |
Centuries is fucking gross yeah
I actually like the quirky sample in the chorus of this a whole lot, it's pretty nice.
| |
Itll probably make the alternative stations here but Id be surprised to hear it on the pop stations. But 'Believer' by Imagine Dragons is on the pop station here every once in a while, so it could easily happen
The chorus is super catchy to me though, stuck with me from the first time I listened
| |
Coming from someone that actually mildly enjoyed their stuff after they came back, this was terrible.
| |
The verse was promising but holy god is that chorus awful
Like I'm into some noisy-ass shit, but this is just... Do they know that just because it's loud doesn't mean it's good?
| |
Honestly I'm just excited to see Antoine Fantoine rip this shit apart
| |
Can people stop misusing, or better yet using in general, the term edm please
| |
It's umbrella and kinda defunct but gets the job done.
| |
nothing about this song even begins to make sense
| |
Could be on a PC Music compilation.
| |
better than 90% of the stuff on their last two albums, and i actually dont mind the pitch shifted chorus. having said that though, it's still not good.
| |
This is...interesting, but I very much mind the pitch shifted chorus. It sounds like someone trying to stab my ears
| |
All of you cant enjoy a simple pop banger smdh
| |
I think there's a decent song here under all of the bs 2017 "we need to do electronic shit like this to stay relevant". But alas, this is atrocious. Especially the chorus.
| |
This video really hit home. I grew up in a single-llama household and was always hiding away in strangers trunks to escape the pain of having to eat shitty sandwiches every night. The track was really formulaic and bland, but I guess thats to be expected coming from Fall Out Bois.
| |
i like this chipmunk vocal shit/sampled vocals they did on the chorus, sounds very radio-relevant
| |
Terrible song. Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, and Onerepublic have all released songs that only pander to recent trends and styles all within the same day. Both Imagine Dragons and Fall Out Boy have incorporated vocal pitch shifting in their new songs. Why is this trending, and what in the world made them think that these songs are actually good?
| |
Only their first like two albums are any good, they were shit after that.
| |
"All of you cant enjoy a simple pop banger smdh"
I'm sure alot of us are fans of pop. But good pop. This is shit smeared pop
| |
Lead singer of FOB, god knows his name, is an incredible singer, so every time they release shit like this it bugs me. I'll just go listen to 20 Dollar Nose Bleed again, I guess.
| |
'I'm sure alot of us are fans of pop. But good pop. This is shit smeared pop'
agree to disagree, mm
| |
holy fuck, i'm floored at how bad this is.
| |
this easily ranks in my top 3 least favorite songs of the decade
this is so fucking bad
| |
This guy has a great voice and he's going out of his way to make it sound awful.
| |
can't wait for the full thing to drop. it's going to suck, but it'll be fun to watch it burn
| |
^ Man people like this so it will be only burn at this site
| |
man this is fucking atrocious. had no idea it was even a thing
| |
^^ People listen worse track. Take new Derulo/Weekend etc i dont know song Swalla sounds like shit but we keeping going to watch and listen this. Distributors see this and bid artists to make pop genres average music. Sad times.
| |
i mean its not like a piece of total shit but it is not even close to good
| |
