Jeff Tweedy Announces Album 2017-04-14 by theBonerKing | 12 Comments | Jeff Tweedy, frontman of Wilco, has announced that he will release a record entitled Together At Last on June 23rd, on Wilco's label dBpm. The album will feature Tweedy performing acoustic renditions of a number of popular songs from Wilco's back catalogue, in addition to songs from Tweedy's Golden Smog and Loose Fur side projects. Together At Last marks the first in a series of such albums.
Concurrently with the announcement of the album, Tweedy has released the new version of "Laminated Cat", originally released with Loose Fur. Hear it below.

Satellite, I mean it'll probably be decent because the material he's performing is all great, it's just that, as big a Wilco fan as I am, an album of Tweedy reinterpreting the songs like this isn't something I particularly needed in my life. I'd rather he release an album of new material.
