this is actually cool
| |
really good track, a bit by the numbers but refined to a pin point so i don't mind
| |
For all its simplicity that video works really well with this track. Anathema is a great band, and I really enjoyed that crescendo at the end. They love their crescendos.
| |
agreed, the subtle use of synth is nice too
| |
A bit predictable, but still a gorgeous track.
| |
are they making the same album again
jk but while Distant Satellites was just solid at least it seems like they'recoming out of their comfort zone on it. Hope that continues here
| |
That was damn good.
| |
Song is verrrrr nice
| |
Damn need to get onto this as soon as im home
| |
These guys have found a song structure that never disappoints. They keep reusing it, but each song always feels so epic and dramatic.
| |
Great song.
I love this band
| |
I honestly haven't really been able to get into their last 2 albums, but this song is excellent.
| |
yeah song rules hard. gonna love the new album probably
| |
Song is great. Love this band.
| |
Really nice track. I'm optimistic.
| |
This is my first Anathema song, absolutely beautiful
| |
I like the song, but it's of course the same song they recorded for several years now. But let's see, the band stated that this album will have quite some surprises.
| |
I love this. It sounds mostly the same as their previous albums, but good god they've really found a way to keep this sound from getting stale.
| |
Great song. Wouldn't want the woman to sing on all songs, but this one really works.
| |
another band that could seemingly shit in a bag and you guys will rub it all over your face
with that, pretty good tune
| |
^ holy fuck my eye sockets are nowhere near big enough to contain the eye roll your comment just induced, send help
srsly though, their last couple releases were mediocre and so was the reception
and before WHBWH came out, there was such little interest in this band on this site for the most part
| |
bruh I would stick my dick in that shitty bag, this band rules
| |
It's getting warma
| |
srsly though, their last couple releases were mediocre and so was the reception
No, people were masturbating over those albums. He's right.
Sucky song btw.
| |
A trve metal fan writes
| |
With the exception of Distant Satellites and the new one which is yet to be unveiled, all post-Natural Disaster albums didn't do much for me.
On another note, I don't like how they've tweaked their band name, it's as if they feel uncomfortable with the word "Anathema"
| |
Love it.
| |
Voivod - they did release a song called 'Anathema' on the last one, can't get much more anathema loving than that :/
| |
Actually Doof now they are Ana_Thema. Uuuhhh.
| |
maybe it's to help you pronounce it? :V
| |
nah maco boy, people were going nuts over WHBWH, and rightfully so
I was all over those next two releases, and they did not receive the same reception, still solid albums tho so rly you should probly worry about other things
"sucky song"
jfc lol
| |
all in good fun boys
| |
Even if it's similar to their past stuff, their execution of the formula is flawless. Love this band.
| |
song is kinda meh tho, gotta say, its their typical formula
| |
When will this band cheer up
| |
Cheep up? I'm waiting for them to get depressing again ha.
| |
They already cheered up with all that life embracing shit in their last albums, bloc. I'm with Gmork, I want them to go back to being sad.
| |
Same here. Bring back Duncan Patterson and continue were Alternative 4 stopped.
