This being said, this is one of those songs that I'd like a lot more if it was by someone else. I actually really do like it as a pop song but after THP I thought Linkin Park were on the way up to their best again.

ATS was (is) one of the worst albums I have ever heard - 2 or 3 fun songs, everything else on that album is nothing or shit - Living Things was a step in the right direction, enjoyable electro/rock album and THP was a pretty good album, album that was basically a tribute to rock/metal/HC/punk bands the band members liked from the 90's and it is their 3rd best album released but if they are going fully "pop" direction on this new album, then well it's definitely nothing for me.. I expected them to go more even more experimental rock/metal or even somewhat prog way but it's their right to do whatever they want.. I never wanted from them new HT or Meteora, just some good rock/metal songs.. definitely not pop, but if other people like this new stuff from them then what does it matter what my opinion is

Fair enough. You do have it tied with Living Things but I guess there's a marginal preference that can't fit inside 0.5 increments.

Living Things is only slightly better than Hybrid Theory, literally like .1 better in my eyes. HT is more consistent, but the standouts on LT are so much better that I just can't overlook that.

I wasn't a huge fan of The Hunting Party (or LP in general, for that matter), but I really can't get behind that sentiment whatsoever. THP may have been inconsistent as Hell, but it at least sounded like they were putting forth a reasonable amount of effort. But actually a fan should never expect a Hybrid Theory 2 or something else nu metal-like, as the band said a few years ago that this was their style back then and they changed. And even back then they never saw them selves as part of that movement. They understood themselves as crossover band between Hip Hop, Rock and Pop. Seeing them doing Pop now is just a logical step after like two Albums that were just made so the fans wouldn't cry too much (Meteora and THP)^^

This is easily the worst single that this band ever written. I don't mind them taking pop route, but this is the worst way to write it. This sounds like a b-side of every top 100 artist.
