What the fuck
| |
Ronnie still sucks
| |
I've gotta give them some credit for stepping out of their comfort zone, but this is pretty bad. Some interesting aspects, but for the most part it falls pretty flat. The "woah-ohs" don't work at all and the robotic vocal effect at the end is gimmicky and annoying.
| |
I honestly think this is the best song they've ever done, and I'm a little shocked that they're moving away from the "shit morals bad boy" catchy core band they've been turning their image into.
| |
Gotta give em props for actually trying
| |
And this is actually tolerable compared to their previous stuff
| |
Definitely better than what I would've expected, I'll give them that. Not all of it works, but some of it honestly does. Color me intrigued.
| |
I am interested.
Although Ronnie is hiding behind walls of vocal layering and production to the extreme
| |
I'd say it's a step in the right direction but it seems like a step into bland pop lol
| |
Obviously better than their other shit. But that stuff was so awful that it's not a compliment to say that. Also is this really space rock? Sounds more like regular pop-rock like 30 seconds to mars or something.
Astronaut artwork = space rock?
| |
Yeah
| |
It's certainly got some spacey elements, but "space rock" is definitely pushing it
| |
absolutey the best thing they've ever done. I enjoy this quite a lot.
| |
I always think about Porcupine Tree's ''Sky moves sideways'' when I think of Space rock.
| |
Vocals are still lol bad, but this was actually catchy. Still not great but a massive improvement, kinda gives off a more poppy 30 seconds to mars feel.
| |
This sounds like they're trying to be 30STM or AVA
| |
yeah definitely better than anything else they've done
| |
radke is the human equivalent of an anal polyp and i'm sure this is terrible just like everything else he's ever recorded.
| |
This is the best thing this band has done but there are definitely some Thirty Seconds to Mars similarities in the song.
| |
more like "vaguely space-rock-tinged" pop rock than anything, snide.
| |
Keeping my eyes peeled for Falling In Reverse Go Away
| |
they should go away into space
| |
Probably had to change their sound because the one talented member left
| |
Can't wait for every one I know to call this revolutionary...
| |
"Probably had to change their sound because the one talented member left."
The fact that this is the best song the band has ever released kinda makes that a bit of a moot point though.
| |
not cringe like some of the stuff I've heard from them, just kind of bland and boring
| |
...huh.
how about that.
| |
"The fact that this is the best song the band has ever released..."
https://www.brainpop.com/english/writing/factandopinion/
we all know that bike accident fucked you up, but you can do this.
| |
I don't think this is their best song at all, it was pretty boring. I only really enjoyed their debut
| |
"we all know that bike accident fucked you up, but you can do this."
You know what, I can't even be mad for that diss, I'll give you that one.
| |
lol good because i was thinking about deleting that
| |
"lol good because i was thinking about deleting that"
Naw, good humor is good humor. I can laugh at a joke made at my expense, as long as it's funny.
| |
respect. self-deprecation is healthy.
| |
self-deprecation is healthy [2]
Gotta learn to laugh at yourself
| |
I always think about Porcupine Tree's ''Sky moves sideways'' when I think of Space rock.
you should think of a better band tbh
| |
Seriously don't rip off Starset smh
| |
This is literally Angels and Airwaves.
It's still probably the best thing they've ever done, but meh.
| |
oh nice so wmg blocked every source of this garbage song on youtube so now i can't even listen to it
| |
Updated the link for you Snake
| |
Ronnie should start rapping again
| |
Dilton Deeboi bringing them relevant news
| |
It's not as bad as their other shit but it's fucking boring.
| |
I am getting pretty heavy Starset vibes from this.
| |
^^^ Sounds alot like a mix of their new single with a&a
| |
Getting pretty heavy shite vibes from this
| |
This is bad. Really bad. I have no idea how anyone could say this is the best they have released...
| |
What the fuck this is pretty good. If the rest of the album follows suit, I may actually have to check it out.
| |
Instrumentally this is actually pretty good but the vocals are still totally unbearable.
| |
They will never be better than their first album
| |
Not great, but way better than most things the band has released
| |
I wish they'd reversely fall into a black hole and die
| |
what a step in a new direction. very excited for these guys to gain SOME credibility, even if its very minimal
songs bland as shit but surely isn't 1 material, huge improvement
| |
I really like it, at least they dont release the same album over and over again. They still have the depth of a puddle but its always catchy
| |
besides the vox this is alright. if anything its better than i ever expected from this band
| |
Damn this is pretty fuckin decent, glad I decided to click it.
I will say that the vocoder part during the bridge is fucking terrible though. Either remove it or use a different sound for the vocoding.
| |
i liked this better when it was called angels and airwaves
wait no i didn't
| |
Seems intriguing. It'll still take extreme boredom or masochism to get me to listen to this.
| |
damn that was bad
almost as bad as when those shit for brains bmth fans started called them post-rock
| |
Lyrics were the worst part for me, verse vocals were bad too and the self destruct narration thing didn't fit. Otherwise it's an improvement, if a small one.
| |
lol did people actually start doing that? I know the band said they'd been getting post-rock influence, but..
| |
I mean... meh...
| |
I think this is passable, I am a bit curious to see how this album will turn out.
| |
"I wish they'd reversely fall into a black hole and die "
Fucking lmao
| |
Definitely the best song they have done. By far. Actually tolerable.
| |
"I wish they'd reversely fall into a black hole and die "
I'd settle for just Radke.
| |
How the fuck do you even pronounce that last name
| |
rad key
like former mlb pitcher brad radke
| |
It's catchy at least
| |
Does this mean that Deja Entendu is Space Rock?
| |
This sounds a helluva lot like Crown the Empires latest LP, why do I feel like a bunch of these bands have unearthed 30stm's self-titled album and decided that that's the shit they wanna do now.
Does this mean that Deja Entendu is Space Rock? [2]
| |
boring as shit
| |
like former mlb pitcher brad radke
that's an unfair comparison because brad is actually a worthy member of society
| |
http://assets.simplyrecipes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/roasted-chicken-apricot-glaze-horiz-a-1500.jpg
| |
This is actually not too shabby.
| |
I wasn't sure if I could call it space rock, but the astronaut art has assured me that this is the case.
| |
"http://assets.simplyrecipes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/roasted-chicken-apricot-glaze-horiz-a-1500.jpg"
Laughed way harder than I should have.
| |
Nowhere near Space Rock but, I'll give them credit....this is better than what I was expecting.
| |
space rock = rock music that incorporates synths and long instrumental passages, sometimes with lyrics alluding to planets and other space phenomena
this song has synths, that's about it.
I mean I guess you could call this "nu space rock"
| |
knew dalton dubois wrote this before i even clicked
| |
This sounds so fucking forced.
| |
"that's an unfair comparison because brad is actually a worthy member of society"
I just read up on this guy, and yeah no kidding huh? I mean this guy just gets to post bail and he can beat up whoever he wants. Its our judicial system at fault mostly, but geez.
Sorry to get all political, just never paid attention to this band.
| |
man i love space rock, this strongly reminds me of hawkwind and the ozrics
| |
boring/10 but yeah this is probably the least offensively bad thing they've ever done for what it's worth
| |
Is good.
| |
man the chorus in this is huge
| |
