this morning a guy was arrested a couple counties over from me because he was dressed as a clown sitting outside mcdonalds singing "scary songs" according to the employees so they called the police and the police arrested him and sent him to jail, their official reason is that he had a warrant for his arrest, lol

I think they are mainly looking at the issue as trying to prevent discrimination because of people's qwerks. People are starting to get arrested dressed as clowns when they did nothing wrong and it could potentially shut down the yearly Juggalo fest if law makers and law enforcement eventually have their way. The most accurate thing from your statement I would say is that I would believe they are also trying to protect their ability to have an income in the future. ICP has always preached about love and non-violence through trickery. They don't want people being hurt, but they don't want another group to be discriminated against when the world should be evolving towards non-discrimination.

That said if I see a clown appear in the night I'm getting the fuck out of there lol

There is one every year and it is their main source of income besides royalties. ICP are pretty thoughtful and progressive people I don't think they appreciate discrimination, but yes protecting income is important lol

I've only heard good things about what ICP's members have done (mostly involving charity work they've apparently done). But what bugs me about this is the "unconstitutional" part of his rant.
