If i could only see one more band before I die it would be Mono. God, I hope they do a east coast tour.
|
| |
full song is better. this edit is pointless.
|
| |
This is better than the first single, quite an enjoyable track actually
|
| |
Indeed.
|
| |
They're supporting Alcest for their upcoming European tour in November - gonna catch them in Birmingham.
Haven't started listening to them yet - any recommendations of where to start Balls?
|
| |
start with hymn to the immortal wind
im seeing them in leicester but take issue with you calling them a support act. its a coheadlining tour; mono are a big deal.
|
| |
Song is good, but why would they release as a single a song too long to be released as a single in the first place? Cutting off ten minutes of a track like this is stupid, full stop.
|
| |
shit band lol
|
| |
Mono live is transcendent
|
| |
Oh yeah, so they are. No need to take issue, my mistake.
Will start there, thanks.
|
| |
interestingly mono and alcest have pretty much exactly the same number of fans on facebook, so thats a pretty good match up for a coheadliner. i cannot wait for the gig. i hope mono goes last.
|
| |
eh this isn't for me
|
| |
I would say this band is totally past their peak, but I did really love Death in Reverse from their split EP with The Ocean last year, and that song is reworked for this album. They still have something there. Their intensity is still there but I think they've lost their beauty and penchant for memorable melodic motifs.

JS19 has it right though. The climax of Ashes in the Snow being performed live in front of me each time I've seen them takes up 3 slots of the top moments of my life, to be quite honest.

mono have shared a music video for the second half of this song. check it out. im a big fan. i wish the video lasted the whole song
