High hopes for this, last one was a letdown.

Hmmm, this is interesting. Super super super super super super super super "alternative".
|
| |
Yeah this isn't really at all like their other stuff.
"Inspiration from acts like Portishead, Massive Attack, Lana Del Ray (WTF...), Pink Floyd or Blonde Redhead"
Yeah Lana vibes all over this.

The most prominent influence I heard was Massive Attack, especially on that first track.

Caught it a little in the 3rd one too, first track reminded me of The Cure at the end. All of those other ones I didn't really pick up on. Except PF I guess but that gets thrown around anytime a song has atmosphere and some synth in it.

very interesting. I can imagine that this style will work much better on a full-length, so I'm very curious to see how that one will turn out.

I didn't get the Lana Del Rey influence at all, but maybe there will be more of that on the full length.

that one track they have a video for (it's just like a car driving around in the dark?) was aesthetically pleasing but otherwise just kinda there. Still gonna listen to the whole thing but I doubt it's gonna be as great as their LPs.
