yeah, i dont get too worried when i see a more forward thinking band like Coroner making a comeback, they usually seem to do well and release interesting material. bands that are more straightforward and traditional in their approach i usually have less interest in, because a lot of the time they end up releasing redundant material that just makes you want to go listen to their old stuff.

Well, they reunited in 2011 and it takes them quite some years to make the new album, I'm sure it will be quality.

Grin is their best album, with No More Color being a close second.

I really liked how they gradually shifted from the musical wankery of Punishment for Decadence to their own brand of metal with Grin by mixing thrash, atmo metal, doom and hardcore, in a "barebones" kind of way.

Their self-titled compilation is almost as interesting.

To be fair, that's generally true but Coroner has had some great lyrics from time to time. About Life, Sirens, Caveat (to the Coming), Host, and Last Entertainment are some of my favorites of theirs in that regard.

This was a good year for me to finally get into them. Should be sweet
