Wilco announce new album

Wilco have announced the release of Schmilco, their 10th studio album. Due out on September 9, the LP features artwork from Joan Cornella's infamous collection, ZONZO. The band have already debuted 'Locator' a few days ago on Star Wars's one year anniversary. 'If I Ever Was a Child' is also available as a free download with each order placed.

It used to be. Now, with this and Star Wars, they seem to have taken a turn for the goofier but the tunes are still solid.

I'm not a huge fan of the two new songs though, I'm expecting this will be their worst album.

Yeah Star Wars was a really solid jam, not much more than that but Wilco have enough greatness in their back catalogue that they can be excused for just putting out fun jams at this point.
