What annoys the shit out of me was that Jayy was getting more time on this, and Bad Blood / Bitchcraft showed a ton of potential thanks to increased production values and giving Jayy a lot more vocal time (instead of Dahvie who fucks up most of the tracks he sings on)

Catchiest chorus they've ever done, the song's well produced, Dahvie is layered to hell enough to where his vocals don't even sound like him and Jayy sings most of the song.

I was actually looking forward to this new album, but I'm not anymore because I'm relatively certain the production is gonna annoy the piss out of me.

the vocal melody during the chorus isn't even very good. It's painfully dull and feels like there should be a lot more emotion in its presentation, as well as more high notes instead of that dull low tone he uses there. If malachite is snide this doesn't surprise me, but comeon man this band was never any good. Even the song you linked was cringey with or without its awful lyrics.

Yeah it's me, Snide. Honestly I like his lower tone and the chill vibe that his consistency in that low tone gives the chorus. Not to mention the very well mixed electronic wobbles and the chill beat work. Bad Blood and Bitchcraft and the solo projects (to me) showed that there was a lot of potential for growth, but this new album "Scissors" is sounding like complete shit.

It was actually on Facebook, we did the prank to fool our IRL friends because they got incredibly whiny about my best friend (the girl who I fake married) not re-arranging HER birthday and inviting more people. (She only invited me, because I'm her best friend for a reason, especially after that shitstorm). We just decided to extend the prank to Sputnik as well since quite a few people on here had me and some had her on FB as well. (In hindsight, might have not been the best idea to post it on Sputnik)
