Axl will finish the Rock or Bust tour, to my knowledge the band have not parted ways with Brian. He just decided to rest for his ears' sake.

Don't like this at all and really hope Brian remains with the band after the tour, if he can of course. Otherwise, it'll be like they're throwing him out of the band because of a current situation that he can do nothing for.

that's pretty cool, but I'm glad I saw them with Brian a couple of months ago

As long as they're alive and kickin' they should continue touring if they feel like it and still have fun on stage. AC/DC just needs to stop putting out bland albums... A new GnR record with the original lineup would be interesting though.

Brian Johnson was an awful vocalist so I guess the band can't get any worse at least.

You guys all can't be serious. Bon Scott era is legend. Anyone who claims otherwise is just ignorant or has no clue about AC/DC.

So they'll be showing up late, there'll be extra audience abuse and dead space inbetween songs as the vocalist runs backstage to do lines? Super

Only 2 members now who have been there since the 70s. The new guitarist joined in 2014 and once briefly toured in 1988. The new drummer was there for a short spell between 1989 and 1994 and rejoined in 2015. Now they've sacked Brian. It's just too many changes in such a short space of time for it to really work. If the changes were spread out (even in the Napalm Death timespan of lineup changes during the early 90s) then it might be a bit easier but in just over a year they've completely changed and it ain't the same band. Although I'll concede that two of them were beyond their control, I'd simply take that as a hint that maybe it's time to retire.

I'm allowed to acknowledge AC/DC's influence and importance while still believing that their music really doesn't pass the test of time.
