@dfevil085 It's a combination of his Goth persona and 80's synth pop.
In all honesty, I like this song, but I was expecting a bit more. It definitely doesn't beat "They Don't Need To Understand", but I can see it stands on its own. Hopefully, The Shadow Side will be a bit more powerful as a whole, but I won't know until May I suppose. Thanks for posting!
Hopefully I get a chance to review this if I have the time when the album comes out.
EDIT: After listening to it a couple times its starting to grow on me, but that first 30 seconds sounds poor for an opener.

The instruments are nice, it's just the lyrics that I have issues with.

Song is actually pretty great but the lyrics bring it down a bit. The hook especially is super catchy but has those really cheesy lyrics :/
