It's alright...

"via Apple Music"
No thanks.
|
| |
Eh, not a fan. I did like Common Courtesy a lot though. I just don't like ADTR when they try to sound "hard". When they lean more on the pop-punk side of their sound (as opposed to their "metalcore/hardcore" attempts) they are a really fun band.
|
| |
Found it on youtube... nice "Wish" ripoff in the verses.
Not bad though but not really what I want from them,
|
| |
I kinda like it as a one-off but it feels like they're trying too hard to be real hardcore or something. As much as they say the haters don't get to them, this indicates otherwise in a way.
|
| |
worst band of all time
|
| |
This band hasn't grown up at all.
|
| |
this band pisses me off
|
| |
I mean
It's better than everything of theirs but Common Courtesy
|
| |
Haven't liked them much since For Those Who Have Heart
|
| |
i wonder if they've ever listened to rise against
|
| |
song sucks and the worst part about it is apple music.
|
| |
worst band of all time.. ya.. totally worse than Hollywood Undead, Emmure, and all that other pure garbage.
|
| |
@Dream Blood on the Dancefloor and BrokenCYDE
|
| |
Apparently every single band on this planet is the worst band on this planet. Fuck's sake, Sputnik.
|
| |
It's not terrible, but man is it lazy. It's like their best attempt at a Stick To Your Guns impression.
They'll never match "Those Who Have Heart" or "And Their Name Was Treason."
|
| |
This band hasn't retired yet?
|
| |
not gay enough tbh i still liek it tho
|
| |
Are the guys done being fucked in the ass by their label? Decent song btw
|
| |
"i wonder if they've ever listened to rise against"
That's was what I was thinking
|
| |
Why would this band "retire" when their last album was some of their best work to date.. rofl.
|
| |
Not feeling this single, which sucks since I actually really like ADTR.
|
| |
Yeah this sounds like a Rise Against song but tbh I like it.
I don't get the hate for this band; they've always been pretty harmless to me
|
| |
@Feather its brokeNCYDE, m8.
band is average to me. as is the song. nothing different than what i expected. not bad though.
|
| |
"I don't get the hate for this band; they've always been pretty harmless to me"
Popular average - above average core bands trigger Sputnik.
|
| |
Rocks hard.
|
| |
Meh, this song isn't really that good. I think this band is just one of those that you listen to at a certain point in your life, and then move on.
|
| |
I prefer when they don't try to sound "heavier." I just don't find it an interesting direction for them. They haven't really done anything to change or improve their sound a whole lot since they began either, just more or less the same stuff.
|
| |
Ewww band needs to go away permanently.
|
| |
These guys will always be a guilty pleasure for me. Song rocks.
|
| |
Wow they've been listening to Sum 41's "Chuck" a whole lot
|
| |
They're like Breaking Benjamin: masters of their particular take on an otherwise oversaturated and maligned genre. Their consistency, perfection and or unwillingness to deviate from it can be either seen as a strength that separates them from their peers or a flaw in their songwriting and creativity.
With that said, tbh, I do like what they did here.
|
| |
Nvm. After listening to this three times, I don't have to hear it anymore.
|
| |
I've always found that they pull off a mediocre sound very well. They aren't great, but they aren't bad; they're just kinda there and doing just enough to get by
|
| |
Great to hear some more hardcore elements from these guys, not only pop punk with metalcore breakdowns. Enjoyed it quite a bit!
|
| |
""via Apple Music"
No thanks."
still better than tidal
|
| |
better than everything off of common courtesy. don't mind this at all
|
| |
Take that back torts. ADTR is at their best when they are making cheesy tunes like "Right Back at it Again". This just sounds real try hard.
|
| |
who are you
|
| |
sup
|
| |
riff in the verse sounds like it was in 12350972346357 punksongs already
|
| |
What, you have to know him for him to be able to address you? Someone's a hot shot...
|
| |
@NonApplicable THANK (pls dont be upset that you were addressed)
|
| |
That riff is ripped straight from stick to your guns. Even the breakdown sounds pretty much the same.
|
| |
"What, you have to know him for him to be able to address you? Someone's a hot shot..."
but who are you
|
| |
that radio host is pretty entertaining ayyyyyyyy
|
| |
At their best, they're a slightly cringe-inducing band that can pull off poppy, catchy, positive guilty pleasure tracks. I really like a lot of individual songs, but would never admit that.
At their worst, well, we've seen what happens when they try to sound aggressive and heavy.
Stick to the light stuff, guys. They excel when embracing the cheese and making hook-heavy bro-pop.
They're mediocre by definition, not by the denotation that's evolved in the wrong direction: they're right there in the middle. Not great, but not bad. They make music in an oversaturated and poorly-aged genre, but do it consistently well.
|
| |
who is this torts guy?

"The doctor says I'm headed for destruction"
haha...
|
| |
Nomos, I couldn't have said it better mysel... oh wait I did
|
| |
beg 2 differ
|
| |
Damn I love this song!! Apparently every song I find on Sputnik is "the worst song by the worst band?" Well gosh.... These guys are awesome though. One if the best bands I've seen live. Between the Self Help festival and still thriving while being independent, ADTR has my respect.
"You don't have to like but you've got to respect me." - ADTR
|
| |
I thought this was fun, just like most of their work. But Violence was a much better first single.
|
| |
-torts
|
| |
better than everything off of common courtesy. don't mind this at all
^ nah bro. this song didn't do much for me. CC has some way better tunes for sure.
|
| |
nomos for best user 2016
|
| |
"I thought this was fun, just like most of their work. But Violence was a much better first single."
violence sucks and sounds like memphis may fire imo this is better
|
| |
they are much better when they're making catchy pop punk instead of trying to sound hard.
|
| |
I like this way more than I thought I would. Their last few efforts just didn't do it for me.
|
| |
digging: 2 chainz and lil wayne
|
| |
lollll
|
| |
I don't understand the hate, sounds like they are maturing and moving in the right direction, I dig it!
|
| |
"I thought this was fun, just like most of their work. But Violence was a much better first single."
love that track. don't get the anti-hype
|
| |
Lmao I admit that I totally set myself up for that one
|
| |
sucks ass
|
| |
the chorus and "breakdown" aren't bad. the verses are just fucking awful though. rip and amount of alright ADTR used to be.
|
| |
Gave this a few more listens and it has slightly grown on me. Just sounds like they had two unfinished songs and decided to combine their favorite parts of them to make this song.
|
| |
I enjoy this. Really dig the audible bass.
|
| |
"love that track. don't get the anti-hype"
Eh, I've always had a soft spot for these guys. I don't enjoy them nearly as much as I did at some point, but they're still fun/enjoyable to listen to in occasion.
|
| |
I'm changing my mind on this. This is growing on me. I still think the verses are some shit Disturbed would write but I like the rest of it.
|
| |
'better than everything off of common courtesy. don't mind this at all' I agree. Back on track
|
| |
CC is the best thing they've released
|
| |
They pretty much copy and pasted that breakdown riff from the the song RMA by Stick To Your Guns.
|
| |
Good song !
