Tried to approach it with an open mind, but it's just not good. Screams are thin and weak, clean vocals are pushed/forced. Lyrics are cringeworthy. Same old chugga-chugga guitars.

this is infinitely better than their old works. this and death to destiny will probably be their only tolerable stuff.

They get kuddos for using more complicated structures than the typical verse riff 1/chorus riff/verse riff 1, but everything else about the song is still wrong. Cleans sound like old Linkin Park, the abrupt heavy breakdowns break the momentum and disrupt the song, and the entire last minute of the song is just the chorus.

I ain't a fan whatsoever, but this isn't bad. Sounds better than their old stuff really.

This is definitely better than their old stuff, but it's not a style I'm that into anymore.

Hey, this band is actually improving. That's always good to see. This still isn't all that great, but it's certainly a hell of a lot better than their past material. And that album cover is honestly pretty sick too.

Well...it's the best thing I've heard from them, doesn't necessarily mean that it's great, but it was decent and tolerable at least

we need to follow ebola's optimism tbh.

Not bad at all. It's not as chuggy as their first two albums which is nice. The album art definitely deserves to be attached to a better band though.

I hate when my friends are all like "Hey, did you hear the new Asking Alexandria song? You like that metalcore/screamo stuff right?"

vocalist has no shame ripping other peoples scream/singing styles.

I think you mean the producer who made his voice sound like that ;)

Saw this band live back in 2011 in opening slot for Bring Me The Horizon and The Amity Affliction. They were awful, but the fanboying in the crowd was just facepalm city. I was only 20 years old then plus it was an over 18 show and still I felt like the oldest person in the room.

I honestly prefer Worsnop's raspier, more powerful vocals. New guy sounds too smooth on cleans.

Certainly more tolerable than usual.

I doubt I'll listen to the album but this is way better than what they were doing before.

Surprisingly enough, I didn't hate this. Very generic, but far better than anything else I've heard from them.

new singer must be a more talented songwriter. songs he did with his old band are pretty well written too

The fist 50-ish seconds of this is actually pretty tolerable. But it's all downhill from there, and the last 1:30 is complete garbage. But hey, at least they're taking some baby steps in the direction of progress.

I actually don't mind the vocals here (apart from the cleans, which are really bland, and the growls which are terrible). The high screams sound like a mediocre attempt at being Jimmy Ryan-esque, which isn't all that bad.

so they went from bad to mediocre.

If they'd just cut out the bland clean vocals, this would honestly be pretty solid.

Not really since the screams are terrible lol

Thank you GEMA for blocking the video in Germany.
I appreciate it.
