Jon Bunch of Sense Field dead 2016-02-02 by bananatossing | 7 Comments | Jon Bunch, frontman of the punk rock band Reason To Believe and the emo/post-hardcore outfit Sense Field, passed away at the age of 45. The cause of death hasn't been reported yet. The musician's publisher confirmed his passing through his Facebook page:
"With broken hearts and so much difficulty, we write these words to all of you who love Jon. He is no longer with us now. We think his life here ended early morning, Feb. 1, 2016, but it is uncertain at this time. Our love, his family."
After the disbandment of Sense Field in 2004, Jon Bunch joined the emo/alternative rock band Further Seems Forever, replacing then vocalist Jason Gleason. They subsequently released the album Hide Nothing in 2004.
Following Further Seems Forever first break up in 2006, the singer went on to reunite with his Sense Field bandmates for the two Revelation Records 25 Years Anniversary shows in 2012. Bunch promptly formed the post-hardcore band War Generation, and released their debut studio album Start Somewhere, Never Surrender in 2013.
He also formed the band Lucky Scars, and released their debut EP Rock and Roll Party Foul in 2015 through Spartan Records.
