Rainbow bassist passes away

2016-01-24 by Daniel Dias | 29 Comments
Jimmy Bain, best known for his bass work alongside hard rock / heavy metal outfits Rainbow and Ronnie James Dio, has passed away at the age of 68. Bain participated in, most notably, Rainbow's acclaimed album "Rising" and Dio's "Holy Diver", accompanying the vocalist for a lot of his solo career. No cause of death has been revealed yet.

It's only going to continue. It's not weird because there are a lot of older musicians now that music has evolved and music boomed in the last 100 years. It only makes sense that this unfortunate trend would one day begin and take on a snowball effect. Death is natural and there are a lot of bands that became popular 30 40 50 years ago.

RIP to everyone... One love
