What happened to this band is the most disturbing tragedy I have ever heard about in the history of music. So sad. My prayers go out to everyone and their families.

They better have some knockout drugs ready for when they tell him because he'll most likely go into shock. And to think 5 years of reconstructive surgery, Jesus.

To lose your closest friends like that and being the sole survivor is bound to fuck you up, I hope he can find a way to cope and yeah I hope he has a supportive family. It's awful to think he doesn't know what happened to them all yet.

Not to mention that surgery is pretty fucking expensive, so he'll be near bankrupt at the end of it too. I don't think Romania has any form of universal healthcare for this sort of thing.

This makes me sick to my stomach just reading about it. I can only imagine how he'll feel when he finds out. Poor guy. My thoughts go to all affected by this.

Sorry to be dark but I think this guy might give up on his life after this, will he really want to suffer through the next few years in his condition having lost several people so close to him?

That's some real heart breaking stuff to read and I know he'll never really recover from it.

To be honest if I were in his situation I would not want to live. It'll take an insane amount of strength to pull through. I hope his friends and family can support him through this. I recently lost a best friend and it devastated me. But this is exponentially worse than that.

He's going to be mentally and emotionally scarred to the point I think a lot of people wouldn't get through the situation but if he has a good support network hopefully he'll be able to take steps to a better well being. Obviously loved ones will want him alive and well.

I really don't know if he will ever be able to recover, this is many people's worst nightmare and there doesn't seem to be any way of softening this to him, they're just gonna have to straight up tell him.

I can't imagine how he's going to get through all this, 45% burns are a lot and it will take at least decades to recover, but never fully. Probably no more music and singing ever (damaged respiratory tract). But I still think the worse part is going to get though all this mentally; he lost his best friends, GF, so many people died too. It's crazy how one night can change everything. Really hoping him for the best, it's going to be very tough. Also, I kind of want to listen to their album now but at the same time I don't...

This just kind of makes me sad. Like, I should be happy knowing that he's alive and conscious, but he's probably suffering so much right now, physically and mentally, without even knowing the fucking hammerblow that's coming to him when he finds out his girlfriend, bandmates, and so many others are gone.

He probably already knows that his career is over, if he's even capable of coherent thought the little time he's awake.

This is honestly one of those scenarios where I feel worse about the fact that he had to live when it all could've been over and he could've gone out with his bandmates and girlfriend. Nobody should be kept alive just to face as much pain as he inevitably will and had he been able to decide his fate, I doubt this would've been his choice. I hope mercy spares him in one way or another.

Some relatively good news so far.

The good news is he's talking again while he's conscious. The signs are looking good for him, as long as nothing happens that makes his condition deteriorate (having seen my dad die in hospital before I know how quickly that can happen). Fingers crossed for a recovery.
