"more fake grain and shitty focus pulling please."

It's better than the band jumping around in an empty warehouse. I'll take these lyric videos over the live action ones any day. I have always found those awkward. Song is alright.

Never understood the whole lyric video craze recently
I feel all it does is make everything cheesy as hell

Today was the first time I heard it so it's new to me bitch. Let's all get oiled up and have a royal rumble in a Georgian McDonalds parking lot.

It's cheap as hell to make while still getting your music onto all the video sites (as well as any site that can embed videos, such as Sptunik) without listeners having to stare at some unchanging band/album photo for 4+ minutes.

true. a classic 4:3 video with blue background and comic sans would be best though.

there are many things that are so wrong with modern metal, but lyric videos are probably top 3, can't stand them

I kinda like this kind of lyric videos. Some of them are really cool

I really don't like regular videos with the band in them, they aren't actors and it just comes across as very Spinal Tap to me.

I prefer lyric videos to regular music videos.

I also like lyric videos. I like reading lyrics especially if they're well written and I particularly appreciate them when I can't understand the vocalist otherwise.

If there is any genre they're relevant in, it's metal.

Lol yea, new Dying Fetus song totally deserves a lyric video. Plus 90% of them are so amateurishly done, it's just so awkward to watch. I generally don't care about music videos, especially in metal, but yea... lyric videos suck ahrd

people will complain about anything, there is nothing wrong with lyric videos.
