Trivium = Volbeat?

I actually kinda like it but not enough to buy the album.

I actually dug that. Straightforward and catchy, but not dumbed down instrumentally.

yeah this definitely feels more like an a Trivium song, only without the screaming which is probably a good thing.

Used to play in a band (way back in the day) briefly with their new drummer. So awesome to see he's doing well in the band! Also, decent song.

Song itself is alright, but the drums are so boring that I can't get into it. It could just be the production though

This sounds pretty good too. Could use a few heavier moments but as it is I'm liking it. 2 songs in and it's already shaping up to be a lot better than Vengeance Falls, which is a relieve to me. I was worried they could keep on that direction but fortunately the Draiman influence and overproduction seem to be completely gone.

The chorus is sick. Rest is pretty standard post-shogun with better singing.

Good by radio metal standards, imo. If I pretend that last single doesn't exist, I'd say this album might be a light 3.
