I actually kinda like it but not enough to buy the album.

I actually dug that. Straightforward and catchy, but not dumbed down instrumentally.

Trivium = Volbeat?

Volbeat have riffs. And are good.

Not bad, sounds like a total throwback to their Ascendancy days

yeah this definitely feels more like an a Trivium song, only without the screaming which is probably a good thing.

Used to play in a band (way back in the day) briefly with their new drummer. So awesome to see he's doing well in the band! Also, decent song.

Song itself is alright, but the drums are so boring that I can't get into it. It could just be the production though

If you want a newish Trivium album to tide you over until the new Trivium comes out go listen to Rise to Fall's Album 'End vs. Beginning'

I think I could get used to this new Trivium.

That's probably because David Draiman isn't a part of it anymore.

It's okay but like the first song I have no urge to listen to it more than once.

I liked it, I just miss the heavier moments they used to have.

This sounds pretty good too. Could use a few heavier moments but as it is I'm liking it. 2 songs in and it's already shaping up to be a lot better than Vengeance Falls, which is a relieve to me. I was worried they could keep on that direction but fortunately the Draiman influence and overproduction seem to be completely gone.

Funny guy.
But yeah this is better than the first single, its just lacking screams.

The chorus is sick. Rest is pretty standard post-shogun with better singing.

Good by radio metal standards, imo. If I pretend that last single doesn't exist, I'd say this album might be a light 3.

It's pretty standard but it's a lot better than their last track.
