Too soon to call this AOTY?
| |
fantastic. can't wait to listen to the whole thing

Too soon to call this AOTY? [2]
| |
AOTY [3]
| |
Best pop-punk band right now. Can't be more excited for the new album
| |
holy crap...this album is shaping up to be an instant classic.
| |
more like the wonder tears
| |
Oh my god. This song put me under. I'm emotionally drained. Jesus, this might be the best track they've ever put out.
| |
This is really good honestly
| |
rofl at half of absolute punk boycotting this band because they had a shitty tour manager
p good song tho
| |
cardinals is better
| |
both are great but cardinals is definitely better
| |
actually no i'm gonna eat my words bc the second half of that song is just too good
| |
Why is Absolute Punk boycotting them?
| |
Damn, these guys are absolutely killing it
| |
The problem with TWY singles is their songs are best experienced in relation to other songs on the album. Madelyn for example is a perfectly passable track without context.
Instrumentation seems more complex on these two tracks then previous albums. Could be that I just need to spend more time with them.
| |
Two drummers and Soup jammin the geetar hey man what's goin on
| |
crap band
| |
Madelyn is perfectly passable in general. I often start on track one and go all the way through, but always skip that one. In fact, I don't even know if I have that song on my phone the first place. Probably don't lolol
| |
Great song. Love the musicianship in this, is it even fair to call these guys pop punk anymore? They sound like a straight-ahead indie rock band now.
| |
One of the few pop-punk bands that I enjoy. This song and the video are emotional and intense. Judging by the two singles, this will be a fantastic and more complex follow-up to their last one and that's truly great news.
| |
Whos cardinals
| |
ur dumb
| |
@kenbo apparently their old tour manager helped cover up a sexual assault case or something so they fired him but mad ap users are upset that they haven't spoken about it.
| |
Once again a minor but impactful shift in sound. Awesome song.
| |
So stoked for this record. I didn't think they would top the Greatest Generation, but it looks like it could.
| |
Never listened to this band but thank you snake
| |
Boring song. This band puts the TV show to shame just by ripping off the name.
| |
You gave The Greatest Generation a 1
So
| |
He's speaking out against Social Security and Medicare with that rating.
| |
Never listened to this band but thank you snake
a couple of clicks would've answered your questions in a heartbeat dude
| |
People rather waste your time then spending a few minutes of their own.
| |
Fantastic track... album is shaping up to be amazing.
| |
Madelyn is possibly the least enjoyable song they've written post-GSOI
This song fucking rules
| |
...And they're still great.
| |
Madelyn is possibly the least enjoyable song they've written post-GSOI [2]
Stoked for this album, and the music video is one of the best I've seen in a while, better than the videos from their last album
| |
Fuck, These guys can do no wrong. Thinking this could potentially top TGG, hopefully
| |
Madelyn is a shitty poo bum song.
This is good, btw
| |
Great song and video.
| |
never could get into these guys..
| |
Jesus Christ, they just get better and better with every album. I fell in love with Suburbia when it came out, and then when The Greatest Generation dropped, I wasn't sure if they would ever be able to top it. Between this and Cardinals, I think they just might. Absolutely stoked for this record.
| |
TWY have never disappointed me yet, but i really hope this is one of those songs that's better in context
| |
Right in the feels...
| |
band is redonkulously good, and they just keep raising the bar with each new album. cannot wait
| |
listened to this so many times already
| |
In speaking of context, this song seems to be in relation to Cardinals
"We're no saviors if we can't save our brothers "
and "You can't help you're friends, you can't help your brothers, you can't help me"
| |
Fuckin stoked
| |
song is heaven
| |
Great track, album is shaping up to be fantastic.
| |
123
| |
omg
| |
Right in the feels
| |
Major influences from the Aaron West side project here. Diggin' it.
| |
not enough d-beats
but for real, I didn't know if they could top greatest generation, but this sounds like it just might
| |
"AOTY [3]"
"this album is shaping up to be an instant classic."
"RELEASED THEIR SECOND SINGLE"
calm tf down Sputnik before before ya'll rate this without putting any thought into it like Counterpart's new album.
| |
shut up.
This band just gets better and better
| |
Never really got into these guys, but this is much more, I hate to use the word mature, but I'm going to.
| |
gay/pathetic/whinny/loser/destined to be a failure at life if you listen this like the rest of their material. good musicianship though.
| |
got goosebumps at work listening to that. this is looking like Home Like NoPlace Is There-tier feels
| |
"Madelyn is possibly the least enjoyable song they've written post-GSOI"
wait.
what.
I barely remember half the songs on The Upsides (though the half I do remember is awesome)
| |
the upsides was like "oh this is neat" and everything afterwards just blows it out of the water
| |
I just recently got into the upsides. That is a damn fun album. Amazing how the band just continues to progress.
| |
Ya it's definetly not a bad album but once the new stuff came out, it sort of faded away for me.
| |
wow! i was hoping this would be good. Presently surprised it is THIS good
| |
holy fuckkkk these 2 singles have been 2 of their absolute best songs, I am too excited for this album
| |
"the upsides was like "oh this is neat" and everything afterwards just blows it out of the water"
yup. All My Friends are in Bar Bands and Washington Square Park are excellent, though.
| |
this is fucking top notch
| |
got goosebumps at work listening to that. this is looking like Home Like NoPlace Is There-tier feels [2]
| |
So good, so fucking good. One of the most consistently impressive bands around now, and they just seem to get better.
| |
I think I need to spin these guys' discography. they're pretty great if this track is any implication
| |
