I have the hand that feeds single on vinyl. The remix is alot cooler than the actual song.

I can't wait for the follow-up. I think it'll be great, now that he's got the stripped down With Teeth out of his system. Not that WT wasn't great, but I crave more for some reason.

roynameless, NIN always does a remix album a year after an album is released ever since broken

Broken : Fixed
The Downward Spiral : Deeper Down The Spiral
The Fragile : Things Falling Apart (which sucked ass)

I hope if he does a remix of With Teeth it will be heavier and screwed up, the actual album was a tad dull compared to his earlier stuff

Homework by Daft Punk sucks in comparison to Discovery, but they are both amazing albums

are they talking about an actual follow-up or a remix? cause he mentions new material...

though i hope it's not just like leftovers from with teeth, that'd be horrible.

1 year in between albums is unimaginably short for mr. reznor.

Yeah, he stated that he's "grown away" from the remix cd followup. Sad, in my opinion. I really enjoyed Things Falling Apart and Further Down the Spiral. Fixed was pretty decent too. However, new material doesn't hurt. He stated this information about the new album along time ago though, right when With Teeth was released. When I saw them again for the second round of the With Teeth tour in 2006, he mentioned that they had been in studio working on things. Probably trying to get it done before Zelda: Twilight Princess drops.

i dont get the point of all these remix single cd's. Sounds like some "get rich fast" schemes. I bought the head like a hole single cd and its just pointless. This is useless news. And maybe Reznor has way too much time on his hands.

It's not 'useless' news. A lot of people such as myself enjoy single releases.
