Robert Smith covers The Twilight Sad

2015-05-22 by SaveYourBreath | 7 Comments
Robert Smith, lead singer of The Cure, and gothic poster boy, has covered The Twilight Sad's 'There's A Girl In The Corner' for The Twilight Sad's 7" Vinyl release of 'It Was Never The Same'.

The single will be the last release from the Scottish band's 2014 album, 'Nobody Wants to Be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave' and will come out on June 15.

The song, along with a short interview on how The Cure legend came about covering a tiny Scottish band's music, can be streamed and viewed here.

It's good hearing robert putting out new music. The song was awesome, I hope he puts out a new cure album soon.

Wasn't really sold on the 30 second preview they showed a couple of months ago, but this is actually amazing.

I think I still prefer the original though, The Twilight Sad did something magical with that album.
