It's a BFMV song, the lyrics were always gonna suck. I think by this point everyone's acknowledged that and blanks them out, it just depends on what the music's like.

I thought this was going to be like Scream Aim Fire. I absolutely hated that album. This isn't great, but it isn't so terrible that I wouldn't listen to it again.

I dig this band's first album. I also think this band has been an abomination since Scream Aim Fire.

My perspective on this song is that it's great. Excellent even. I listened with negative expectations and kept waiting to cringe. To my surprise the scoffs never came and the song even defied my expectations. One song alone won't convince me that the album won't be crap, but at least now there's hope.

Some people will never get past this band's negative stigma and listen to the music for what it is. If you ignore the hate, you'll see this is a well crafted song with abnormally good guitar work (for them) and a catchy chorus.

no, you're right about that. kinda realized that after posting. I guess the main difference would be the variation in musical quality.

they just never matured with their original fan base, they keep appealing to angsty "depressed" 15 year olds and anyone who was around for The Poison is ten years older now.

Lyrics are basically not saying anything. They are just there so something can be sung. Solo is boring, chorus is ok. But it feels like the pre-chorus doesn't fit at all and really destroys the transition from verse to refrain. Not expecting anything from these guys since Temper Temper.

Pretty much anything they'd release after the abomination that was Temper Temper would be praised.

So, this song is bad, but it's great when held in comparison to that awful album.

Sound is great. Lyrics are embarrassing, the pre-chorus especially. Excited for the album though - should provide some fun listening even if the lyrics blow the whole time.

Stopped listening to them about the time they released fever, they've been on a steady downward curve their whole career. Song's not exactly great but seems to indicate a renewed vitality on the part of the band- lyrics are standard fare for bullet, but this is a definite step up from the garbage found on the last couple albums.

Just listened to the other new song Raising Hell and it is even worse. I know lyrics never were their strength but they were solid on The Poison. All of this recent stuff is such a joke however.

Sounds just like something of Poison. I'd like it for nostaglia's sake but on it's own it's pretty generic metalcore. Still, way better than pretty much anything they've done since Poison
