Rise Against plan to record their next album

2007-05-19 by Alex101 | 21 Comments
Rise Against are planning to return the studio to work on their fifth album as soon as they finish touring and promoting their latest album The Sufferer & the Witness. Expect it to be released sometime in the summer of 2008. Further information regarding the new album remains unknown for the time being.

The band has been touring non-stop since the release of The Sufferer & the Witness in 2006. The band will be heading their own tour through North America throughout this summer, which means they would not be part of this year's Warped Tour. Today (May 19th), Rise Against will also perform live at the fifteenth annual KROQ Weenie Roast, which is set to kick off at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California.

Their tour is awesome, they are headlining with Silverstein, Comeback Kid, and Smoke or Fire as support. RA and Silverstein in the same venue = amazing.

Silversein and Comeback Kid...ugh =/, they need to tour with better bands. I wish I would saw them when they toured with Thursday, Circa Survive, and Billy Talent.

I was at weenie roast and saw them interveiwed by Kevin and Bean right in front of me, and when they were asked about they album, they said that they knew it was news to them and that they knew nothing about it. SO I think this news bit is false. sorry punks

Though any Rise Against show is good, the best show was probably when they played with Bad Religion and Tsunami Bomb.
