That opening riff and breakdown makes me want to punch an entire field of cows.
Glad to see they can keep up to the quality of the last album.

So good, can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
| |
Solid song. Album art is awesome too. May 19th? That's sooooo long from now!
| |
Great band, good song as usual
| |
stoked for this
| |
sweet
| |
Love the band, stoked for the album. But this song doesn't do anything for me.
| |
Glad to hear them continue to progress and not fall back into generic Silverstein like they did with albums like Rescue.
| |
I swear they use the same vocal melody in every song, yet somehow I still love them.
| |
They're probably keeping it off until May so they can support the album as much as they can once they're done with the Discovering the Waterfront shows.
But yeah, I thought this song was okay, but not their best. It may grow on me though
| |
Good song.
| |
Why does everyone follow that ridiculous hair trend?
| |
Short or long. You can't have the best of both worlds, you only look like a fool.
| |
Anyways, the song was alright.
| |
Favorite fucking band. Never disappoint.
| |
lyrics and the video are super cliche (screaming the words while under water? really?) but it's still good.
| |
song is sick, but does sound a little samey with some of their other stuff, but no surprises there.
| |
Seeing them on Tuesday with Beartooth and Hands Like Houses. Gonna be good.
| |
the clean vocals melody should just be named the "Shane Told Sequence"
these guys killed it at Chicago Riot Fest tho
| |
RIP it
| |
Sounds like every song they've written since Rescue. I'm sure the album will be good for a solid couple of spins, then I'll grab a handful of songs that are clearly better than the rest for the ol' collection and move on.
| |
good song as expected
| |
hiiiiiiiiiiilow
hiiiiiiilowlowlow looowweeeerrr
| |
Dig the opening riff but it does sound very samey. Still excited for this.
| |
familiar, but an improvement over whatever old material it evokes, for once. interested to see if they can top the last album.
| |

^ this haha :]
| |
Fuck
| |
Hell yes.
| |
yeah
| |
Not their best song, but it's still silverstein being silverstein, and that's always a good thing.
| |
Cool song, really dug that chorus especially and the opening riff is really twisted up
| |
Pretty run-of-the-mill for them. I've never been a big fan, but they have some cool songs here and there. Short Songs was the coolest thing they ever did. I did like their song Sacrifice too because that actually had some punch to it.
| |
sounds kinda generic to me
| |
Silverstein sounding like Silverstein
| |
Ehh, band needs to innovate. Their last album was a classic but they should definitely shake things up this time around.
| |
His vocals feel a bit different on this compared to the last album. I like it.
Chorus was kind of a bummer, tho.
| |
nah i really like the chorus

Agreed on both counts, but I do think they're doing the "Silverstein sound" better now than they ever have before. Sure, you've heard it before, but you've never heard it as good as on this new one or This is How the Wind Shifts.
| |
It just didn't do as much for me as the verses did. I liked it a little more the last time I listened to it.
I wish they would have come up with a different riff for the bridge part instead of just using the intro again, tho. It seems like they do that a lot.
| |
Wish they made more songs like " In a Place of Solace"
| |
Still digging this track. Wish the album would drop already!
