Yeah this dude sounds weak as fuck. Cade from Of Glaciers would have made a much better choice. Also, this song sounds like something Tessaract would put out. Northlane with a swing and a miss.

This guys absolutely surprised me. I knew his cleans were great but his screams sounded weak on the auditions. However he sounds much better with good production. Northlane's future is looking good. Hell even the song was a little more creative than some of their usual songs.

Adrian had a really dynamic voice; he left some pretty tough shoes to fill. Marcus didn't sound so great doing Dream Awake, way too many cleans and his lows aren't the best. His voice fits much better on the new track (which is pretty sick).

Everything is cool, new vocalist is cool. If something sucks, it is the rhythm guitar work on this song. It's boring and brings the song down so much.

metalcore is a tough thing to be into nowadays bro... I've been big into it since 2006-ish and very few bands if any these days can do anything that hasn't been done before - northlane included.

very few metalcore bands blow my mind or put out anything i jam for an extended period of time these days, hence my needing to expand out into different genres lately

I dig this, not an improvement but by no means any worse then anything on Singularity

I really dig the atmosphere on this, but I wish it had more riffs lol. New vocalist might be better than the last guy.

If I'm honest, Adrian was the main reason I didn't like Northlane. I really like this new guy; he adds a much-needed punch to the music, as well as great atmosphere.

Adrian used cleans sparingly in songs and had great lows. This guy pissed all over the track with his lame cleans and even lamer screams. The difference is noticeable enough.

Not sure why people are reacting so harshly to the new vocalist. Adrian had a very weak mid/high range, so this guy isn't any worse in that area, and his lows are decent enough. I would say he has more variation than Adrian, and his cleans are more enjoyable. Adrian's cleans were awkward as fuck.

As for the music, boring as hell. I think they probably let the vocals be the main focus of this track. That's my hope anyway, because they can write songs muuuuch more enjoyable than this was.

I liked Adrian but I'm not hearing it. I mean his growls were great, and yes, they were better, but the rest? Growls aside there was nothing impressive at all about his vocals.

I always thought he had a lot of character which in hindsight is pretty damn impressive. I mean there are a lot of vocalists with great growls and screams and singing voices but if you have a unique presence then that's not something to pass up. Those kinds of vocalists always seem to be divisive as a result.

I actually wasn't expecting to like the new vocalist as much as I do. Maybe a bit too many clean vocals but the unclean vocals sound pretty good to me.

Those cleans are great. I like him. Adrian was a good dude but live he struggled to bring it.

I don't mind this, but hasn't really gripped me that much. Discoveries is still their best release and I'm hoping they can top that with Marcus, but I'm not anticipating much.

Singularity was really good imo. The production (MacBook snare anyone?) was a bit thin but the songwriting was really good for the genre. I'm liking where the new stuff is heading

I don't know how people say this guy is worse than Adrian...all he had was decent lows. His mids were weak and his singing was laughable. His lyrics were his highlight imo.

This guy can actually sing, lows are decent and I like his mids. Music is still the fucking same. Drums are more present in this track though.
