Judging by the sound of this, I'm guessing Sumerian is going to thankfully let Circa Survive do their thing, instead of having too much creative control. Everyone was skeptical when TDEP recorded with Sumerian, but One Of Us Is The Killer ended up being arguably one of their best albums.

@cliiint i think it might be. there's a well-received comment on the youtube video claiming that the two baby dudes in the crowd represent the miscarriages Anthony's wife had before his son, so the baby he's fighting has to be the one that survived. it might be related to the depression he went through during BSN because of the second miscarriage, and him battling his demons, OR it could just be fatherhood shit. i dunno.

I love these guys but hopefully the rest of the album is a little more thoughtful and melodic like Blue Sky Noise. This was just "OK" for me after a single listen.
