Powerful as ever (notably at 4:50-->) but I really wish they'd add more variety. They have a great sound, it's just always the same sound.

Song is awesome even if it is not breaking any new ground. These guys are pretty much badass incarnate

This kind of sucked tbqh. I was afraid their last album was the start of the slippery slope downhill and it sounds like this will follow suit.

huh, had no idea this was coming, art is sweet

it's pretty good but i miss the actual riffs and memorable vocal melodies

their last album was basically just an hour of indistinct bombast - no doubt passionate but it just didn't hold up in back-to-back listening

also this might sound weird but this kind of reminds me of sabaton in a strange way

Decent track. Wish this band would have their vocalist actually sing in cohesive melody with the instruments at times instead of him just singing over the instrumental loops, if u know what i mean by that. Still really good. I just feel like it could be better if they mixed it up in this way. Cause basically every song has the exact same sound.

Think I'm going to the release show for this. Song is great. Alan on point as usual.

When I first listened to The Gathering Wilderness I thought it was nothing special at first (compared to the previous albums), but it grew immensely with subsequent listens.

Track is good, I will be patient about the album.

Band still has same sense of despair from when I heard them back in 2007.

A.A. Nemtheanga is one of the greatest vocalists in metal. The passion here is absolutely insane.

Nope, I just expect more from great bands like this. My favourite album by Primordial will always be Imrama, top 10 greatest bm albums of all time.
