brace for shit

After the abysmal disappointment that was the last album and its unnecessary "recalibration", I don't think I can muster the energy or will to be excited about this.
| |
will suck, first 2 albums will continue to be good, band is pulling a Weezer hard
| |
Wow, not even the whole Rob Graves returning is giving anyone hope for this :P

@titan Yet again! Hahahaha!
| |
shinest part of you left nut? no thanks.
| |
I'd rather wait and see. I'm more of the patient type.
| |
Band is fine,I&I was excellent but last album blew the shitter though
| |
But guys
Strings
| |
Wonder if the new album cover will be red
| |
Well the last one was blue but then they recalibrated it to be red so yeah it probably will be a red cover
| |
strings
yeah strings
| |
Given how much I hate Release the Panic, I can't *wait* to hear the songs that didn't even make the cut for it.
/tzarchasm
| |
Why in the fuck is everyone hating on this? Rob Graves is back (STRINGS), and the drummer from Love and Death?! Holy
crap. I suggest those who don't know of the band take a listen before commenting. L&D is a great band. Plus their eagerness
to get back to the studio just shows they realize they made a mistake with RTP and are anxious to correct it. I think this will be
awesome, since they're actually listening to their fan's feedback.
| |
Alter, because Rob Graves and the strings were brought back for Release the Panic: Recalibrated and it was the result was still terrible.
| |
Probably because they did the string parts afterwards, now they can make songs where the strings will really fit in
| |
Really excited for album #5. They were looking for themselves on RTP and it seems they're piecing
themselves back for this record.
| |
So yoooooou caaan make me whoooole
| |
First three albums.
| |
@fti hahaha, damn should've left well enough alone XD
| |
I was sure Snide would have posted this news lol
| |
Double post

I think we're getting off topic.
There are strings to be discussed.
| |
ugh, for crying out loud, this is why I hated Recalibrated so fucking much.
| |
go away
| |
I'm waiting to actually listen to it before I can judge it. I'm interested in what they have to offer (besides the fucking strings) in this new album.
| |
Is anything after the first two worth listening to? Scores and general opinion indicate no.
| |
See, that's where I disagree and say that the first three are worth your time.
| |
None are worth your time but if you enjoyed wasting time on 1 and 2 you might as well try the rest.
| |
What a buzzkill.
| |
Innoncence and Instinct is their best album. There really are no dull songs in it imo.
| |
I wasn't a big fan of "Never Be The Same" and the "Shadows" song they did with Benjamin Burnley. I also think they should have replaced "Death of Me" with "Overtake You" from the deluxe edition.
| |
But yes, I think it was a terrific album, nevertheless.
| |
Overtake You was really the only song I couldn't really get into that much honestly. Every other song I really enjoyed.
| |
"Overtake You" is one of my favorite songs on that album.
| |
It's good, but it doesn't really match up well with the other songs honestly.
| |
Third albums actually my favorite all the way through with exception of Not Alone. The last album was a step back but still better then the (second half) of their first album IMO
| |
I actually thought RTP was a step forward for them, but it still isn't as good as EOS or I&I. UWHF is their worst but it's still enjoyable.
