Thursday cancel tour 2007-04-04 by Damrod EMERITUS | 7 Comments | Today Thursday announced that they have to cancel all shows for 2007 "due to circumstances beyond control".
The MySpace Blog of the band states as follows:
"Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be canceling all of the current tour plans for 2007. This includes Give It a Name in Europe, our slot on the My Chemical Romance tour in Canada and our shows in Mexico. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause and we're disappointed that we won't be seeing the people and places that we were looking forward to. We will be playing one of the shows we had planned, May 7 in California, PA.
We would like everyone to know that we will be devoting all of our time and energy this year to the future of our band. We recently got a second chance to start this band over fresh and we don't plan on wasting that chance. New music. New Records. New Labels. New Energy. This is what we've been dreaming about."
This also affects unmentioned shows and festivals like the Groezrock in Belgium. If new shows might be announced later this year is yet to be seen.

Yikes, not good.
| | | Ironic how they said they would finish out all of there tours even though they departed from Island. I wonder if something happened...
| | | it's one of those things you just will never know probably.
| | | "due to circumstances beyond control", sounds pretty fabricated. No joke.
| | | I don't know what I'd do if anything bad happened to this band. When I was a hardcore blink-182 fan it was hard enough years after finding out they broke up.
| | | I don't think they're gonna break up. I saw them in february and they said they were enthused about writing new material, but that was before they left Island so you never know.
| | | At least their playing May 7 in California, PA.
