didn't see an article on these two songs.

That second song is crazy different for Cedric. Weird
|
| |
Not really digging Cedric's vocals or the production at all
|
| |
Cedric's a very volatile vocalist. I really dig his style.
|
| |
the songs are pretty lifeless tbh
|
| |
plus they don't have those wtf moments that the volta had. all those crazy detours and soundscapes are sorely missed.
|
| |
Listening to the first song now. Sounds like a 'sober' or 'restrained' at the drive-in, without the crazy freakouts or the acid-laced accentuations in their latter stuff. In fact it sounds like the early stuff i think.
I personally like it. It kind of cuts away some of the ornaments that made cedric and omar's music so distinct, but there's a rawness to it that i think more than makes up for it.

| |
I think that both songs are pretty decent. "hanging in the lurch" is quite catchy. I'd like to see them grow to their full potential on the album though
|
| |
I wasn't too big on "4AM", but I like "Hanging in the Lurch", even though it doesn't sound much like any of Cedric and Omar's older stuff.
|
| |
Like the new song even better, damn this is gonna be awesome
|
| |
lets be honest here guys: its fucking boring
|
| |
here i'm thinking sputnik would ooze praise for this.
|
| |
Both tracks are sick
|
| |
To be honest these stripped back simple songs are a refreshing change of pace.
|
| |
this is pretty alright
|
| |
3rd song should be up tomorrow
|
| |
huh, kinda fun. more entertaining than TMV was towards the end.
|
| |
Sounds pretty good, I like it.
|
| |
sounds good song. that line-up is capable of so much more though.
|
| |
nice to hear them doing something a little more straightforward. it's got a really weird feel to it, but it's pretty awesome.
|
| |
oh another new song
https://antemasque.bandcamp.com/track/people-forget
|
| |
People Forget is awesome and the best of the three so far. Goddamn I am pumped. Cedric sounds so good
|
| |
The three tracks released so far sound great, sad that Flea won't be a permanent member, though.
|
| |
I listened to these in order and 4AM made me feel "meh"
Hanging in the Lurch had me bobbing my head
and then People Forget made me pretty damn excited to hear more.
