from beyond is one of those albums thats only good as a sum of its elements, and what i mean by that is there massacre had nothing inherently good going for them other than a few good riffs (and a ton of bands did it better) but somehow the whole package of the album, the production, vocals, guitar tone, etc, came together just right and made something pretty enjoyable

im confident theyll never be able to do that again and this track is probably evidence. not a single thing here thats worth going back to at all.
