The recent shows we played around and including the Riot Fests in Colorado and Chicago were such a great time for us and we wanted to thank you all for the response, once again, to our erratic and spontaneous show scheduling. We had so much fun. So much, in fact, that we all decided we would like to do a few more shows before the end of the year. And since we have been working on some new material, we decided that it would be fun to try to go back and play all of our previous material.


That's right, all of it.

So we have booked 4 shows, 2 on the east coast and 2 on the west (sorry middle America), and we will play two complete albums each night. Since we want to cover everything, we are going to try to include all B-sides relating to each album as well on their corresponding nights.

I have many pre-TDAG fans. They were high school friends from 7-8 years ago though so they stopped listening to Brand New anyway. But I've shown them a few songs from after Deja and they were impressed.

yeah it's just the ones that hate the post Deja sound that are a massive pain.

It's because Brand New didn't sell out like many other bands do. Brand New came on the David Letterman and Conan shows playing "Jesus". That was so awesome.

After Deja they could have ridden a huge wave and made people a bunch of money including themselves, but they took the artistic route. In this day and age in the United States that is not often the most popular choice. They were already pretty popular when they changed things up so a huge divide among the fan base should have been expected because Lacey took deliberate steps to make sure Brand New didn't evolve into a watered down mainstream atrocity.

I'm a Long Island fan and I prefer Daisy.

I think its the older Long Islanders who listened to YFW during High School who abhor Daisy. It's not a bad record; just not their best. Every 20-30 year old Brand New Long Island fan supports YFW, because they were one of the most popular bands around this area during that time, and they actually released an album, so it was a pretty big thing
