New Josh Scogin Project

2013-12-16 by YourDarkAffected | 28 Comments
Ex-The Chariot frontman Josh Scogin has just released a music video for what appears to be a song under his new project, "theyare68," or simply '68.

With what started as a teaser image on Instagram of the ex-Chariot vocalist playing guitar (something that in and of itself should raise curiosity), and under the caption "I'm back in the saddle again. #68," a link was provided to theyare68.com, which displayed the '68 logo and a cryptic countdown until 12:00pm EST today, unveiling the new video which can be streamed below on youtube.

Fitting that it sounds like a mix of The Chariot and Norma Jean circa Anti-Mother.

Sounds a bit like old Maylene and the Sons of Disaster.

That was decent, reminded of some 90's noise rock mixed with The Chariot.

It's not as far off from The Chariot as I was hoping, but still awesome nonetheless. And he's a pretty decent guitar player too.

They actually stated that they quit the Chariot so they could go out on the absolute top of their game because they felt like they had accomplished everything they needed and didn't want to soil their reputation
