I knew the guitarist and drummer were in hardcore-esque bands before this...figure some of that influence woulda shown.

My mind was blown when I saw this. A new album so soon... and every track is only about a minute and a half long. Such a huge change from their last album!

Honestly, it's not that bad of a track, besides being derivative. Would much rather see this than the approach they took on the last album.

Yeah they left the punk scene the moment they made that queer ass song, SUGAR WE'RE GOIN DOWN SWINGIN ... these posers don't have what it takes

They were never a punk bad, they were a shitty bad group of pop rock for 10 year old girls, just like the jonas losers or tokio brothel. Boy bands are more punk than this homo band and boy bands are far from being punk.

well this is just an "EP" but still. probably will be better than save rock n roll (that wasn't hard to do though)

Not really digging this. Was expecting vocal contributions from pete since he usually does the more agressive vocals on their past records (quite badly might I add)

Cry more, guys. It was really under-produced and the vocals weren't great, but it wasn't terrible. It's not good enough to be worth talking about, but only like half-bad punk rock.

Cool tune. Surprised they're releasing a new album already, but if the whole thing sounds like this song I'll maybe give it a shot.

This is easily the best thing they have done since infinity on high. I'm actually looking forward to this. They are trying to bounce back from that shittty last album maybe? Who knows.

I like it. It seems fucking retarded when you go into it (stripped down, raw production, bluesy vox), but it's interesting at the very least if you keep an open mind. I mean, instead of going in and doing what they definitely know how to do from other bands--turn overdrive up to "10" and put on some harsh screams--they went and did something fairly natural sounding.

On another totally unrelated note, has anybody heard that new TBS song, Flicker Fade? Adam's voice sounds like it's slowly recovering from the shittiness. I watched a couple more of the songs they played that night. Sounds like there's less sandpaper in his throat and he doesn't completely fail when trying to hit the highs in old songs. Hopefully this new album will be decent...

As far as this FOB song... Eh. Couldn't get jiggy with it. The vocals didn't seem to fit to me.

They came here but I opted not to go because I thought he was just gonna sound shitty like he usually does... Then I stumbled upon the youtube videos of them live at the starland ballroom and they actually sounded great. They just have a good energy about them now. The new song has this climatic ending with adam and john going back and forth. The nostalgia just rushed in. Now if only Brand New would show signs of life (record wise), I'd be completely set.

Wasn't bad, vox were a little out of place but at least Patrick's a good singer lol. I doubt there's anything they could do that wouldn't harbour them hate at this point by you people xD.
