Hesitant to listen to this...I feel like this is one of those songs you shouldn't cover..

The link doesn't seem to work up there so I am going to try it in a comment:

Alright... ^This one is working.

It's pretty good actually, I just don't like how they add screaming parts to the song that weren't in
the original. The way they did the original screaming parts was good though
| |
I haven't heard the original and am about to go look it up. I have listened to this a few times and didn't mind it.
| |
the guy's voice automatically ruined it for me lol
| |
Not Thursdays best album, but I'll be interested to hear this
| |
I'm hesitant too, this is like Thursday's sacred song.
| |
Well that was surprisingly good, but the singer has no emotion in his voice, which is a HUGE part of Thursday's songs.
| |
I am really interested to hear their version of Blindside's Sleepwalking from this cover EP they are doing.
| |
that was p good
| |
yeah not a bad cover
| |
It's Wolves at The Gate, these dudes are stellar. Have yet to be disappointed by them. And lol at the singer "having no emotion in his voice".
| |
didn't they do a pretty good thrice cover not too long ago?
| |
it's decent. pretty cool tracklist for songs to cover too
| |
Well this is unexpected....
| |
I liked it. Tracklist is sweet too.
| |
I thought this was pretty good actually. It really benefits from the sharper production.
| |
I don't know, I thought it was ok. I mean don't get me wrong, I love watg, but this cover seemed almost too slick. I think Steve did a good job here singing but the screams felt forced. This song though is one of my favorites so I just may be a bit biased.
I gotta say though, I am stoked for the Blindside cover.
| |
Ooooh this is gonna have a Deadbolt cover
| |
It was decent, a little over-produced though. The bass on the original sounds way better.
| |
Like his voice better than Geoff's honestly.
| |
^BLASPHEMY
| |
riff is weak in this version. try again.
| |
@fadedsun Totally agree! Bass and drums sound like they were programmed in there. It really just sounds regurgitated imo.
| |
I've never heard these guys before, but I didn't enjoy this at all.
I'm not digging the vocals here.
