Camel are recording new material

2013-09-06 by Voivod STAFF | 67 Comments
According to Canadian keyboardist and composer Guy LeBlanc, who's been progging for Camel since 2000, all band members have been rehearsing during the last few months, in order to prepare for a line of European concerts in October. In addition, LeBlanc reports that the band is recording new material, on the grounds of a (full length?) release for the said tour.

In his own words:

"I’ve spent the last few months learning, re-learning, rehearsing and recording with Andy Latimer and Camel, and I do believe that a CD will be released in time for the tour.

It’s been a lot of fun, and I’m very much looking forward to meeting up with the boys in late September for band rehearsals, and of course the October concerts which will be fantastic!"

The set of live dates is as follows:

10/19 UK Harrogate Royal Hall
10/20 UK Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall
10/21 UK Manchester RNCM
10/22 UK Salisbury City Hall
10/24 Belgium Limbourg Le Kursaal
10/25 Holland Groningen Oosterpoort Main Hall
10/26 Holland Amsterdam Rabozaal
10/28 UK London Barbican
10/30 Germany Bochum Christuskirche
10/31 Germany Mannheim Alte Seilerei
