Rosetta Stream New Album

2013-08-08 by DarkNoctus | 43 Comments
Self-professed "pretty loud" band from Philadelphia, Rosetta, are now streaming their new album on their Bandcamp. The Anaesthete is their fourth album to date that pushes the boundaries between post-rock, hardcore and progressive metal. It will be released physically in the fall of 2013 on Monolith Records in Australia and Debemur Morti Records in Europe.

The album can be downloaded on a pay-what-you-like basis - including for free. Fans are advised that free downloads on Bandcamp are limited to only 200 so after that you will have to pay for it.

currently listening to the opening song. Let's hope they've returned to awesomeness that was their first 2 albums. Not that determinism wasn't good but it was disappointing.

God forbid an artist should want remuneration for their work.

They've always had odd mixing and production though so I'm not surprised, holy shit Hoku and Myo hit hard!

Sounds awesome. Sadly, I have really really grown out of post-rock. It just doesn't interest me as much anymore. But I can tell that this album still rules.

Turned off the sound check option in my iTunes and it fixed the issue.

Took several more listens but this is badass. "Fudo / The Immovable Deity" is my favorite so far.

Same here. Used to listen to Rosetta all the time a couple years ago.

Might go and still see them when they come to Cleveland though.

Already got my free download, it's another big step from their post Rick sound and more into hardcore and progressive metal
