Meh...

"Strong electronic influence" is a nicer way of saying "shitty bro-step gimmick shit".
|
| |
why would they release such a terrible...terrible song?
They cant possibly think someones gonna get excited about the album with that shitty song
|
| |
Mirror was released in 2003, Untouchables was released in 2002. Link is also broken.
|
| |
MOAR LIEK PORN MIRITE GUYZ?!?!?!?!
|
| |
Very weak and uninspired
and this is coming from a long time Korn fan :[
|
| |
I really hope this song is a one time deal and the rest of the album is guitar driven and heavy. They got Head back and they still don't have their shit together?
|
| |
Rofl they were probably super ashamed of the reactions to the song and quickly took it offline ... what a joke band, IT'S LIKE HIGH SCHOOL ALL OVER AGAIN ISN'T IT JONATHAN
|
| |
I will listen to this just to say I've listened to it, but bleh
|
| |
So disappointing and its a shame really
|
| |
Jonathan said it was gonna be their heaviest album yet so I'm not giving up my hopes just yet

song can be found here, quality is really shitty tho (radio rip)
|
| |
Used to like Korn in Middle School but song is lolbad.
|
| |
I might have to check this out now that Head is back in the band. His band, Love and Death, really brings the riffs
|
| |
Bad bad bad
|
| |
Everyone thinks Head was the only source of Korn's sound. You do all remember David? Drums aren't just noise that anyone can do. Takes true rhythm to get those songs moving. Their new drummer is a dweeb. Jonathan David said in a DVD once to forget about listening to KoRn without all 5 of them. Their sound will never be the same again.
|
| |
Thing is this song can't really be used to judge the entire album. They have one song with Noisia but also have stuff which was written before they even considered using dubstep so it's gonna be a pretty mixed up album from the sound of things.
|
| |
Not as bad as the songs of their last effort but still a weak tune. As a fan of their old work they should now just retire.
|
| |
well, as someone who had a lot of faith in this reunion with Head doing anything, this pretty much
just shattered it. hopefully this isn't a sign of the whole album, but if it is, this will be Korn's
worst record yet
|
| |
Yeah I've already said they've already got songs which were written before they even started the dubstep thing (e.g. Lullaby For A Sadist) on there so there will be the back to basics nu metal as well as the more electronic tracks.
|
| |
Sweet.

Hell yeahh! Loved to watch David Silveria behind the kit back in the day. Such a great drummer.

'better than anything they've done on previous albums since untouchables'
prepare for destruction
|
| |
I saw this article on the Korn page (to see if somebody posted it) and the video didn't even work
then, i'm surprised this got approved.
Anyways, I heard the song the other day. It has electro influences but it's not brostep like Path
was...
song was alright I guess

Head actually is cool but it doesn't mean that the reunion means a instant comeback of the old korn, since issues head became a crackhead and the other members were the ones who were lucid, besides head is not the leader of the band. Davis is the one who controls the direction of this band. The problem of korn is the same one present in every band who was big when certain trend was overexpossed , when nu metal decay this band get ran of ideas an began to release bad albums, also the dubstep album was just a desperate try to stay relevant and finally it was just a sellout album which shouldn't see the light from the beggining.

Agreed. David practically made the band for me. Miss Fieldy's prominence in the sound of the band as well. His style was pretty unique for a band like Korn.
|
| |
Come the fuck on Korn, take the dubstep out of your sound and you'll sound great...
|
| |
korn have become reliable when it comes to producing shit
|
| |
love u korn keep ur chins up
|
| |
this band had some ok albums here and there back in the day but they have not made anything worth while in 10 years. so many 90's bands need to put it to rest, Korn is among them.
