afi has been great from black sails on in my opinion. 3 news articles put on the site in 24 hours... I feel special.

Didn't really enjoy the video, most of the ones in this vein (just the band playing) don't do much for me. Looking forward to seeing them live though, especially since the tour date is before the release of the new album; curious to see how that pans out.

Like the new song, Burials should be best record since StS. Doesn't say much, though,

I like this song but jesus, what a horrible video. It's like Davey went out of his way to make sure he looked as unnatural and fake as possible with his lipsyncing

Actually thought that was ok. Pretty different change of sound from what I used to know them as though.

AFI sound like hipster music now
This band does not age. Jade had that same haircut when I was 16/17 and the other dudes look exactly the same. Davey isn't doing that whole androgynous thing anymore thought which is good.

This doesn't sound like "hipster" music at all.

Honestly enjoyed this more that the last couple of albums they've done. Hopefully the album will hold up to this standard.

Love the new song. Not sure if I want to watch the video, not really too fond on music videos,
especially ones of just the band performing.

By the way, all AFI albums are enjoyable in their own way, but Black Sails - Sing The Sorrow is the
best era.

Edit: just watched the video, it was cool. It was just shots of the band, but at least they used
decently creative shots instead of boring, typical ones.
