Got a bit excited when I found out these guys like Thrice. Cover's not bad.

There's also a Bon Iver cover. Add it to the news article.

Is this band good at making their own music or just the covers? They didn't really change a whole lot, but it's still pretty cool since the song is awesome.

This is pretty spot on. I don't mind at all that it's pretty faithful, song's great as it is

Thrice cover is boring. The Bon Iver one is good.

I'm gonna be the first to say that this Thrice cover was completely unnecessary. It's identical to Thrice's but with worse singing and shitty drum triggers

Yeah, this cover is actually too similar to the original for me to like it, and the voice is kind of annoying.

friendly reminder that the best version of this song is still by Thrice, but it's not the album version, it's the absolutely gorgeous AOL sessions version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FegxfR3bRks

A "solid" cover is nothing but useless. It's pointless to try to step in the same steps of the original band. I mean it's already been done, why would you do the same thing again?

Never heard anything else of the band.

And I was the fourth dislike.

Yeah, it does seem a little pointless to cover a song if you aren't going to try and change anything at all.
