JEW Taking Awhile on Follow-Up 2007-02-19 by Jom | 7 Comments | It's been a little over two years since Jimmy Eat World has released an album, but frontman Jim Adkins insists that the band isn't going to rush through the recording process and instead take its time.
The band had started working in September 2006 on a follow-up to 2004's Futures and is polishing up new material to include on the album.
Said Adkins:
During the Christmas break we wrote some new tunes and got ideas for a bunch more. We are working on those and giving them the chance to develop. We are still very excited about what we have completed thus far and we hope to wrap it up as soon as possible, but this is the way rock is. Sorry. Shit takes forever.
The band has issued no tentative release date.
