After their self-titled debut in 1994 and several EPs and split albums, they released Static Prevails in 1996. In June 1999 Clarity was released, but as with the previous album, the label refused to release it anywhere outside the USA. Fearing they were in danger of being smothered by their label, the band split from them and organized and funded a European tour by themselves. Fortunately, the band came to the attention of EMI music, and under Dreamworks the album Clarity was released worldwide, followed by Bleed American (later self-titled after September 11th 2001). Bleed American was the turning point for the band, receiving massive radio and television play, particularly the radio-friendly single, "The Middle". Their album Futures was released in 2004, and also received widespread critical acclaim. They have since released four LPs, Chase This Light in 2007, Invented in 2010, Damage in 2013 and Integrity Blues in 2016. « hide
